Wah. It was a great Christmas, except for my grandfather passing away. We made it through the new year, the viewings and the funeral. And now here we are. Life is short. Enjoy the little things.

NAME CHANGE!!!
My lovely readers,
As you have seen, I recently married my honey. As such, my name has legally changed and thus the name of my company no longer makes any sense. So moving forward, I will just be myself: Alison E. Curtis, Photographer (did you see that I already changed that with facebook!?!). 🙂
I will keep the website, email, etc. the same for now — which will probably be pretty confusing, but I am converting slowly so no one gets left behind.

Somebody’s getting married
I have been trying to get shots of “the details” as I’ve been planning. In only ten short days, I get to become (officially) Mrs. Curtis. And I am SO EXCITED. This is one of the few that I can share without completely ruining the surprises I’ve been planning for over a year.
Is it spring or is it summer?
Today was among the most gorgeous of days I can remember. There didn’t feel to be any humidity. The temperature could not have topped 85. The sun was glistening gold in a perfect sky of blue without any clouds. The only thing missing was Graham.
One year older
July marks yet another monumental month of birthdays. In the last 10 days we celebrated all three boys’ getting one year older. Jude turned 1 on July 4. Graham turned 9 on July 6. And Thurston turned 3 today, July 14. We partied hard yesterday to celebrate all three and I’m pretty sure everyone had an awesome time.
…and yes, that’s my honey, fully-clothed, on the Slip and Side.
